A litte Sun anyone?

We made it! Our travel went perfect. We had a few crazy kid moments that were expected but no flight delays and all our baggage arrived.

It was a super long day. We started out by driving to Phoenix Monday night to stay at my brother, Will's, house. We had a fun night and all went to Peter Piper Pizza (wow, the one in Phx makes ours look like the ghetto!). We had to get up at 3:45AM so we could get Dad to his flight on time. We couldn't get a flight to Chicago together and he left about an hour and a half before us. After our Phx to Chicago flight, we all met up and continued together for a straight flight to Sweden (8.5 hours). SAS is a great airline!!! Instead of all the other domestic flights where you pay for everything, this flight had such nice things included! We started the flight by finding a blanket, headphones, pillow and bottled water waiting on our seats. Did you know they charge $7 for a blanket now on USAirways?!?! We also each had our own video system on the back of the seat in front of us. It was great. You get to pick the movie you want to watch or you can watch the cameras mounted on the outside of the plane or play video games. They even fed us twice, gave out snacks and drinks, and served wine or beer with dinner and coffee afterwards...all no charge! Such a nice change!
So we arrive with no problems. We rented a van for 790Kr. (about $100) and packed it full!
Our new place is great. It is much larger and more homey than I imagined it would be. We have 3 bedrooms, a family room/dining room, kitchen with a breakfast table, 2 small bathrooms, and a great balcony/porch! There is a great courtyard complete with a huge wading pool and playground. There are also BBQs to check out and picnic tables.
I think it will be a great place to stay and hopefully we will meet some of the other families staying here (there are 8 listed from the USA!).
So far we have explored our place, unpacked, and the kids got to go play in the wading pool...they loved it! Now, if we could just figure out how to sleep when the sun is up 20 hours a day!
