We Got Wheels!

Half way to Phoenix, we realized we forgot to pack the stroller. We have one of those huge, sit and stand double strollers and we decided it wasn't worth going back for. When we arrived, our buddies loaned us two strollers. Both were "American" type stollers that they didn't use anymore. The strollers here have larger wheels and a wider wheel base. This allows them to fit the wheel rails built on stairways and put up with weather. This was great, even if we had to carry them up stairs or take the Hiss (elevator). We each grabbed a kid and a stroller and off we went. Much easier! However, Craig is here to work.
That leaves me with 2 kids, 2 strollers, and only one set of hands. I decided to try packing both kids in one stroller. It worked but it was not pretty. Brady sat on Brenna's lap and it got uncomfortable fast! I couldn't let one walk and one ride without causing WWIII. And I surely couldn't handle both of them walking...too much traffic and eventually they would both want to be carried!
Today, Craig came to my rescue and we bought a second hand, Swedish, dubbelvagn complete with a rain cover and foot cover for yucky weather. I was thrilled. I couldn't wait to get out of here. Our first voyage was to the park down the street. I have no idea what it is really called but Brenna calls it "Play Park" or "Fast Slide Park". It was so nice to be able to get out easily and we even met some new friends, Alma and her mom Kajsa.
The fast slide...this thing is wicked!

Swinging cuties!

A tire swing grin...isn't he the cutest!

And back in our new ride to head for some dinner...BYE!
